Working closely with young people and their family, we will provide a team-based approach to assessment and treatment. This will include a psychiatrist and psychologist team working together with you and your family to best help. The setting is confidential, welcoming, and in a safe, homelike environment.
Out-patient Mental Health Services
The flexibility of outpatient care allows patients to attend treatment services during the day and return home to be with family or friends in the evenings. Unlike inpatient care, individuals in outpatient programs do not have a secure environment to isolate them from negative or triggering factors. Therefore, patients in treatment for substance abuse disorders must voluntarily abstain from drug or alcohol use when they return home each day.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
If you have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD) and one or more antidepressent medications did not work for you, TMS may be the answer.
With each treatment session only lasting 20 minutes, the treatments can fit easily into your schedule. The treatment has minimal side effects and is covered by Tricare and most private insurance providers.
Including Autistic testing through No Stone Unturned
When a child is having behavioral, social, or academic problems, it may be due to a learning disorder, an attention deficit or even an emotional problem, such as anxiety or depression. Specific types of psychological tests can help a psychologist rule out some conditions while honing in on an accurate diagnosis.
Everyone goes through tough times. But sometimes, the negative way someone feels inside -- depressed, anxious, wanting to avoid people, having trouble thinking -- may be more than the ups and downs most people feel now and then. If symptoms like these start to get in the way of your life, or that of a loved one, it’s important to take action. Research shows that getting help early can prevent symptoms from getting worse and make a full recovery more likely.
Family and Group Therapy
Group and family therapy typically rests on the dynamic interaction of the members of the group. The emphasis is on helping participants understand the projection they have toward other members, while learning from the feedback they receive from others, including the therapist.
A trained therapist can help you make lifestyle changes. They can also help identify underlying causes of symptoms and provide strategies for changing unwanted thoughts and behaviors. Therapy can help to equip you with the skills to manage symptoms, reduce stress, and improve their quality of life.
Medication Consultation, Assessment and Treatment
Our physicians/nurse practitioner are available to provide evaluation and psycho-pharmacological treatment when medication is a treatment option being considered. However, our clinicians sometimes require patients to be receiving ongoing psychotherapy with a licensed mental health provider
